Our team

Lucas Saiter, LMHC

Practice Owner and Director

I offer psychotherapy in many areas, including LGBTQIA+ individuals working on strengthening identity, Latinx individuals and couples, immigrants adjusting to living in NYC, adults and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, identity concerns, trauma, grief and bereavement, and relationship and intimacy concerns.

I draw on psychodynamic, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help people develop a more holistic sense of themselves so that they have more control over their lives. I am passionate about helping people gain awareness and become more authentic and agentic. I am also trained in and offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Through personalized therapy, I am dedicated to developing a working relationship with clients and I see therapy as an opportunity to work together to develop goals.

My approach is characterized as a collaborative, compassionate, and active, where individuals can find authenticity in themselves and make meaningful change in their life by recognizing patterns and finding a voice for themselves.

I am bilingual and offer therapy in English and Brazilian Portuguese, my native language. I also work within a larger group practice called Clarity Therapy NYC, feel free to click here to check out our website.

Braxton Stage, MHC-LP

Psychotherapist

I am a trans psychotherapist in the state of New York who works with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community exploring their identities, young adults adjusting to the independence of adulthood and people dealing with depression, anxiety, anger management, identity, life transitions, and more.

My approach to therapy is described as warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I’m passionate about helping people build connections, gain awareness, and live authentically. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and my hope is to help provide different perspectives and skills using approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. We’ll explore what is most important to you in working towards your authentic self. This will allow us to:

  • Work together to develop practical skills to help cope with life stressors

  • Explore parts of yourself so that you can live a life driven by authenticity

  • Explore and rebuild thought patterns to have more self-compassion and empowerment

  • Overcome fears and worries by living in the present while acknowledging the past
